Gas Heating

Electric Heating
Is available in heat pumps for the spa or pool or electric heaters for spa pools only.
Heat Pumps
Heat pumps operate on a process of extracting warmth from the air they draw in and transferring it to a heat exchanger that the pool or spa water passes through it.
Heat pumps too, have evolved since the early days, there are now dual purpose units for pool and spa heating together, most has converted to digital displays and setup procedures are user-friendly.
Electric Spa Pool Heaters
Electric spa pool heaters are generally sized from 1.5Kw to 6Kw depending on the application.
For example a 6Kw heater is hardwired and generally used in an in-ground or old spa pool application.
Lesser Kw heaters such as a 1.5 Kw would be found in a spa bath or portable spa application. These units do not need to be hardwired as they are general wired into a plug-in control box.
Diesel Heaters
Diesel Burners also 'provide on demand' heating that allow you to heat your pool when you want to.
Diesel is usually a commodity that is readily available in rural sectors, hence the trend towards using this kind of heater.
Solar Heating
The size and positioning of the collector in relationship to the pool size is the secret to and efficent Solar Heating System. A north facing roof with the equivalent to 80-100% of your swimming pools surface area can allow you to swim up to seven months of the year.
